No big post this week. Really sorry, yesterday was my birthday and I'm also participating in the Etsy Yart sale so I haven't been able to put together a post for today.
I'm opening up the comments for today to any and all suggestions of topics you'd like to see the blog cover. Please don't be shy.
Happy Birthday... Have not forgotten I want a braclet .. no business at my store so have to hold off

Hi! Your blog is really full of useful and informative ideas on Handmade Business!!
ReplyDeleteI would like to seek your advice on starting a mailing list. I already collected some emails. But I do not know which is the best mailing list provider around.. Please do advise on what we should look out for, and also some recommendations that we could use.
Thank you
Thank you for your email in regards to using a calendar to organise our days .. whilst your post was short n sweet, I found a lot of information which was useful, reminded me of something I had to organise & to definitely begin working on my weekly schedule !

djStoreRoom - There are 2 ways you can go about this:
ReplyDeleteIf you want readers to be able to read your blog updates via email, use Feedburner (run by Google, see my blog to right hand side)
You can set up an account from there & put the link on your blog & voila .. readers can subscribe from this link .. you can check who has subscribed by clicking on Feedburner & they will begin to receive your updates quicker rather than waiting for them to look through their blog following updates
In terms of an actual mailing list where you can create updates via email, I had recently discovered www.madmimi.com, sign up from there, customise your account & begin creating updates to send via email from there
Hope this helps .. let me know how you go .. hello@thesavannahroom.com

hi!
ReplyDeleteSomething I think may be of use to readers is how you find balance between life, work/school and your shop.
